Job Title: Operations Manager - Quality Assurance

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee quality assurance operations in renewable energy projects, focusing on solar and wind energy.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in QA/QC, project execution, vendor management, and team leadership, with a proven track record in solar and wind energy projects.

About the Job

This is a key role that involves leading inspection operations across various stages of solar and wind energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will be responsible for supervising manpower allocation, managing relationships with vendors, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

In addition, the successful candidate will maintain detailed reporting of inspection progress, project timelines, and quality status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Inspection Operations: Oversee inspection activities across manufacturing, installation, and commissioning stages of solar and wind energy projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure implementation and compliance of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols.
  • Manpower Allocation: Supervise and optimize manpower allocation across multiple project sites.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors to maintain quality and delivery standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with internal teams, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders for project coordination and issue resolution.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy preferred).
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years in QA/QC, inspection, or operations in renewable energy (solar and wind mandatory).
  • Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth Understanding: Solar PV systems and wind turbine components.
  • Familiarity: National and international QA/QC standards for renewable energy.
  • Proficiency: Inspection tools, checklists, and documentation.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong Leadership: Team management abilities.
  • Excellent Communication: Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel to project and vendor sites is expected.
  • Preferred Experience: Exposure to utility-scale or large rooftop solar/wind projects.
