NetSuite E-commerce Testing Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled NetSuite Quality Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our e-commerce business. As a NetSuite E-commerce Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business and functional requirements related to NetSuite and e-commerce processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, writing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases, scripts, and test plans for our NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) and other e-commerce integrations. You will be responsible for automating regression tests for key e-commerce workflows such as order-to-cash, inventory sync, tax/shipping calculations, and product updates.

This position requires expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, or similar. You will also be responsible for validating API integrations (REST/SOAP), 3rd-party connectors (e.g., Celigo), and backend jobs.

As a NetSuite E-commerce Testing Specialist, you will log and track issues in defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and work closely with the development team for resolution. This role involves conducting regression, functional, smoke, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

You will also support test automation in CI/CD pipelines and advise on automation best practices. Prior experience participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and QA retrospectives is highly desirable.

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles, with a mix of manual and automation testing.
  • Experience working with NetSuite (SuiteCommerce or SCA) and understanding of core ERP/e-commerce flows.
  • Netsuite SuiteFoundation Certification
  • Solid knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe).
  • Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with test management platforms (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to NetSuite scripting, workflows, and integrations with platforms like Shopify or Magento.
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
  • Knowledge of load/performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter who can balance multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business needs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
