Job Overview:

  • To achieve high levels of success in this role, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and evaluating customer needs to meet annual sales targets.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies is crucial to meeting individual and team targets while maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers.
  • Staying informed about competitors and customers through market research will enable you to provide valuable insights to drive business growth.
  • Train and motivate the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and promote products effectively through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Promptly address customer concerns and feedback by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective marketing activities and inventory management.
  • Manage budgets, receivables, and inventory to minimize expiries and S2S ratios, and forecast stock requirements accurately.
  • Collaborate with distributors and hospital staff to service customers and grow sales while ensuring compliance with policies and codes of conduct.
  • Regularly monitor performance and conduct review meetings to track progress against operational plans.
  • Work closely with marketing and product management teams to achieve unified goals and objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in sales of medical devices, preferably in interventional cardiology or cardiac rhythm devices.
  • 5+ years of experience in team management.
  • Strong relationships with cardiologists.
