Key Leadership Role: Design Director

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the design team to develop innovative and sustainable products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical and aeronautical engineering with a strong technical background on various aircraft OEM programs.

  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of metallic and composite materials, including fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, etc.
  • Should be well-versed in Airbus methods and applicable procedures for respective applications.
  • Knowledge of aerospace stress activities, various ATA chapters, technical measures at each stage with metrics, product design, plant engineering, repair activities, tool design, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, MROs, aerospace systems ES, MSI, etc.

The successful candidate will also be accountable for ensuring compliance with A1020/M1020 requirements, reviewing WPL recommendations/requests on DOA scope, identifying and providing required training, and close monitoring of effectiveness during mentoring phase, as well as reviewing monthly data of all nominees and signatories as per audit/compliance requirements through logbooks.
