As a key member of the Kindle Ingestion Management Services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the ebook conversion pipelines that enable millions of readers worldwide to access their favorite books. Your technical expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the speed, reliability, and scalability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new features and enhancements to our ebook conversion pipelines, working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Author detailed designs and architecture documents, reviewing and refining them with your team and stakeholders.
- Engage in design reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality designs and implementations.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to drive team excellence and continuous improvement.
We're looking for experienced software developers with a strong background in Java or C++. Your ability to multitask, adapt quickly to new development environments, and learn new systems will be essential in this role. You should be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both written and orally.
