Academic Administrator Role

Brainware University seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to strengthen our academic ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree with 55% marks or Ph.D. (Law degree preferred) and 8-10 years of experience as Assistant Registrar/Deputy Registrar in a private university.

  • Liaise with UGC, State Higher Education Department, AICTE, and other statutory bodies; ensure timely compliance with rules, regulations, and reporting.
  • Support the Registrar in managing establishment, examinations, admissions, and academic records.
  • Handle legal cases, policy documentation, and institutional governance in line with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate statutory meetings and prepare official records.
  • Oversee service rules, appointments, leave records, promotions, and staff/student grievance redressal.
  • Maintain administrative databases and generate reports for internal and external audits.
  • Guide administrative staff and ensure smooth functioning of all student/staff-related services.

Responsibilities Summary

Key Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. They should have a strong understanding of academic administration, HR policies, and legal frameworks. A master's degree in a relevant field and 8-10 years of experience in a similar role are required.
