Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Deputy Branch Manager. This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including managing staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Opening & Maintenance:

    • Monitor processes for account opening, maintenance, and closure related formalities as per banking regulations

    • Handle customer inquiries and instructions while ensuring delivery standards are met

  2. Transactions Related:

    • Ensure counters are opened and staff is ready to service clients 15 minutes before customer timings

    • Properly scrutinize transactional documents submitted by customers

  3. Service & Quality:

    • Deliver consistent and superior levels of service to customers

    • Maintain adequate records and data pertaining to customer queries and complaints

  4. Audit & Compliance:

    • Effectively support and handle branch audits by internal and external auditors

    • Ensure comprehensive compliance with regulatory requirements

  5. Others:

    • Maintain highest levels of discipline in the office

    • Define goals and performance parameters for the team

Required Skills and Qualifications:
