Role Overview

As a Branch Manager (Direct Marketing), you will lead the entire sales and operations of the branch.

You will be responsible for business growth, team leadership, compliance, and digital adoption within your branch.

This role blends strategic sales execution with operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Leadership & Sales Strategy

- Build, lead, and motivate a team of Relationship Managers.

- Develop branch-level sales strategies aligned with company goals.

- Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making using CRM dashboards.

Revenue & Business Growth

- Deliver on branch-level revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition targets.

- Ensure effective execution of direct marketing initiatives.

- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across customer portfolios.

Customer Experience & Retention

- Build a customer-first culture within the branch.

- Ensure branch delivers high NPS scores through efficient service delivery.

- Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions promptly.

Operational & Compliance Management

- Oversee end-to-end branch operations including sales, service, and claims support.

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations, internal policies, and compliance frameworks.

- Regularly audit sales processes to minimize risks.

Team Development & Mentorship

- Train and upskill Relationship Managers in insurance advisory & digital selling.

- Conduct performance reviews and implement incentive-driven culture.

- Foster collaboration across sales, operations, and support teams.

Qualifications & Skills

- 6-10 years of experience in Insurance/BFSI sales leadership.

- Proven success in branch-level P&L management and sales target achievement.

- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management capabilities.

- In-depth knowledge of insurance distribution channels (life & general).

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.

- Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred
