Advertising Sales Manager for FMCG, Consumer Internet, Gaming Verticals

To merchants, Paytm offers acquiring devices like Soundbox, EDC, QR, and Payment Gateway, where payment aggregation is done through PPI and other banks' financial instruments. To further enhance merchants' business, Paytm offers commerce services through advertising and the Paytm Mini app store.
About the Team:
Paytm Ads is Paytm's digital advertising vertical that offers innovative ad solutions to clients across industries. It provides advertisers with the opportunity to engage with 300Mn+ users who interact with over 200 payment and retail services, online and offline, offered on the Paytm app. Paytm Ads maps user transactions to their lifestyle choices and creates customized segmentation cohorts for sharp shooting ad campaigns to the most relevant target group.
Responsibilities:
We are hiring for the role of Advertising Sales Manager for FMCG, Consumer Internet, Gaming verticals. The responsibilities include:
- Becoming an expert in Paytm Ads solutions for businesses of all sizes and adapting recommendations quickly to suit varying client needs.
- Owning end-to-end key business metrics like ads revenue, educating, and leading strategic conversations with clients and navigating complex relationships.
- Being the voice of Paytm Ads in the industry and presenting Paytm's advertising solutions to CXOs, media heads, brand managers, agency partners of large brands in the market.
- Building a strong pipeline of media briefs and responding with customized pitches and proposals aligned with the client's business and marketing objectives.
- Working closely with the campaign delivery and optimization team to monitor and deliver expected results to the advertiser.
- Leading initiatives that require significant cross-team collaboration to build innovative advertising solutions for key advertisers.
- Providing constant feedback to the product team to improve advertising performance and customer experience.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3+ years of experience in advertising sales managing large clients (digital preferred).
- Proven experience in managing programs/categories/business verticals.
- Strong stakeholder management experience; ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
- Ability to deep-dive into a problem; very strong analytical and presentation skills required.
- High bias for action required.
- Ability to thrive and perform in an ambiguous setting; sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule.
