Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) specialist to join our team. As an AVD specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the virtual infrastructure of our organization.

Azure Virtual Desktop is a comprehensive desktop and app virtualization service that runs on Microsoft Azure, allowing users to access Windows 10 multi-session, Windows 11, and Windows Server Remote Desktop Session Host resources from any device, anywhere in the world.

In this role, you will have hands-on experience with creating and configuring Azure Storage accounts, designing and configuring Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and Azure network settings. You will also have expertise in creating and managing Azure Virtual Machines, including deploying IaaS VMs and cloud services into secure VNets and subnets.

You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot remote apps published on AVDs, create and configure Azure Log Analytics workspaces, and implement Azure Automation-based solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, good diagnostic and analytical skills, and hands-on experience in managing Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure (AVD). A good exposure to Nerdio Manager tool is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Azure Virtual Machines, including deploying IaaS VMs and cloud services into secure VNets and subnets
  • Design and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and Azure network settings
  • Manage and maintain Azure Storage accounts, including creating and configuring Blob, Azure File Share, Table, and Queue storage
  • Troubleshoot remote apps published on AVDs
  • Create and configure Azure Log Analytics workspaces and implement Azure Automation-based solutions
  • Implement security best practices for Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure (AVD)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure (AVD)
  • Expertise in creating and managing Azure Virtual Machines, including deploying IaaS VMs and cloud services into secure VNets and subnets
  • Experience in designing and configuring Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and Azure network settings

  • Good diagnostic and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good exposure to Nerdio Manager tool
