Revenue Accountant

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end revenue accounting processes ensuring accurate and timely recognition in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and practical application in complex contract scenarios. They will be proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite SAP Oracle and revenue sub-ledgers or modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely recognition
  • Review customer contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue treatment
  • Collaborate with Sales Legal and FP&A teams to assess deal structures and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies
  • Prepare and maintain revenue schedules journal entries and reconciliations
  • Analyze deferred revenue billing schedules and revenue forecasts to support financial reporting and audit readiness

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue accounting or revenue recognition preferably in a SaaS technology or services environment
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with finance legal and sales teams
