  • The role involves overseeing financial activities for DHR Global and its portfolio companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP and APAC accounting standards.
  • Responsibilities include performing general ledger functions, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • The successful candidate will also oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with production teams to track costs and performance metrics.
  • Another key aspect of the job is aiding financial decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, and assisting with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Additionally, the role requires collaboration with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Improving efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes across both regions is also a critical responsibility.
  • Moreover, conducting variance analysis and providing explanations for financial performance is an essential part of the role.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CA/CPA certifications are preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop is necessary.
  • A thorough understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with APAC accounting standards (US-GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP) is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions are necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment is required.
