Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished financial operations specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities of our India-specific finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Manage accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Payouts and Invoicing: Handle creator/educator payouts, invoicing, and vendor payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements to minimize risks.
- Audit and Tax: Assist with audits, tax-related matters, and monthly/quarterly closings to maintain transparency and accuracy.
- Budgeting and Reporting: Support budgeting, MIS reporting, and cash-flow management to inform business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Work collaboratively with operations and leadership teams to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
- Experience: 1–3 years of finance/accounts experience, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and compliances (GST, TDS, ROC).
- Skillset: Proficiency with accounting tools (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks) and Excel/Sheets.
- Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
