Job Description:

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Hospitality Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Hyatt Corporation in Raipur, India.

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our Food and Beverage (F&B) operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our outlet, ensuring exceptional guest service and high-quality food offerings.
  • You will work closely with our Outlet Manager to achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and maintain operational standards.
  • Your primary focus will be on providing excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with guests and colleagues, and driving business growth through innovative ideas and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
  • Deliver brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Financial Management:
  • Assist in improving productivity levels and prudently managing utility/payroll costs within acceptable guidelines.
  • Ensure that the outlet is operated in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the brand promise.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly and annual personal targets and outlet revenue goals.
Operational Excellence:
  • Implement minimum brand standards and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with other Outlet Managers to drive business success and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our operations.
Personnel Development:
  • Oversee the punctuality and appearance of all F&B employees, ensuring they meet hotel grooming standards.
  • Develop each employee's skills and abilities through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and recognition, encouraging employees to contribute to the operation's success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
