Role Overview:

We are seeking a Government Tender/GEM Bidding Specialist to manage our government procurement and bidding processes.

This role requires expertise in end-to-end bid management, including tender submission, compliance, competitive analysis, and client interactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of GEM bidding processes, public sector procurement, and government tendering procedures to ensure successful bid submissions and contract wins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender & Bid Management
    • Manage the end-to-end process of government and PSU tenders for our Mumbai office.
    • Oversee tender identification, bid preparation, submission, and compliance on GEM and other government portals.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to determine pricing and bidding strategy.
    • Represent the company in client meetings, clarifications, and negotiations (online & in-person).
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Prepare, review, and submit accurate and compliant bid documents, ensuring adherence to statutory, technical, and financial criteria.
    • Maintain all necessary registrations, licenses, and certifications required for government tenders.
    • Ensure timely updates and modifications to tender-related documentation as per government norms.
  • Market & Opportunity Research
    • Regularly track government procurement trends, tenders, and upcoming opportunities on GEM and other platforms.
    • Identify potential government contracts that align with the company's service offerings.
  • Proposal & Bid Preparation
    • Work closely with technical, finance, and legal teams to create compelling, competitive, and compliant bid proposals.
    • Draft technical and financial proposals tailored to tender requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Post-Bid Engagement & Negotiation
    • Handle post-bid follow-ups, including negotiations, clarifications, and contract documentation.
    • Oversee invoice submissions, billing clearance, and timely contract execution.
