Job Description

We are looking for a Cyber Security Architect who will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential threats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.), IPSEC/SSL VPN, SAML, LDAP, etc., encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms. Experience with next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower) across various environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid) with centralized management solutions is also required.

In addition, the candidate should be able to implement advanced NGFW features like deep packet inspection, application-level filtering, and Identity-based access controls, malware protection, and sandboxing. Experience with migration of security solutions across OEMs and deployment of multi-factor authentication solutions is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security solutions to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential threats
  • Implement next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower) across various environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid) with centralized management solutions
  • Deploy and configure on-prem / hybrid proxy, cloud proxy solutions (e.g., Palo Alto Prisma Access, Forcepoint Proxy, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco WSA)
  • Implement remote access solutions (SSL/IPSEC VPNs, Remote Access Solutions based on ZTNA framework)
  • Migrate security solutions across OEMs
  • Deploy and configure multi-factor authentication solutions
  • Participate in planning and design of security solutions based on client requirements, industry best practices, and technical standards
  • Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure that solutions meet functional and performance requirements
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security solutions with existing infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals
  • Experience with next-generation firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower)
  • Knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.), IPSEC/SSL VPN, SAML, LDAP, etc.
  • Experience with migration of security solutions across OEMs
  • Good verbal & written communications skills
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience on FortiGate NGFW, Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco / Forcepoint Web Proxy
