Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a DCS Lead Engineer. This role will involve working with a cross-functional team to design, implement, and test Distributed Control System (DCS) software solutions for various industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project team, ensuring quality deliverables within budget and timeframe. They will also work closely with customers to understand their process requirements and deliver tailored DCS software applications.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a project team to execute projects successfully, focusing on quality, budget, and timeline.
  • Design, implement, and test DCS software applications, including human interface systems and control logic.
  • Support project managers in tracking progress, resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the project scope.
  • Develop design specifications and configuration guidelines based on customer needs and expectations.
  • Create project-specific SW HMI Library elements.
  • Conduct technical reviews for quality assurance.
  • Develop test specifications and supervise/test protocols.
  • Participate in FAT/SAT/Commissioning or conduct these activities.
  • Channel technical queries and ensure scope creep management.
  • Raise project issues/risk proactively to lead engineer/project manager with mitigation plans.
  • Cultivate system engineer skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate with system integrators to provide clarity on scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in DCS software application development and delivery.
  • Leadership experience in engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and programming skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Electronics/Telecommunication or related field.
  • DeltaV experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of visual basic.
  • Familiarity with typescript is beneficial.
