About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our revenue recognition process. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP through end-to-end process management.
  • Analyze customer contracts and determine proper revenue recognition treatment based on agreements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate accurate data flow and contract interpretations.
  • Prepare financial entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Ensure timely collections from customers.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls over revenue recognition processes.
  • Provide necessary documentation and analysis for external and internal audits.
  • Collaborate on initiatives to automate revenue reporting and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in revenue recognition or technical accounting.

US GAAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606.

Accounting Software: Experience with QuickBooks, ZOHO Books, XERO, etc.

Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
