Virtual Desktop Architect

 

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Desktop Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex virtual desktop infrastructure projects. This is a unique opportunity to join our team and utilize your skills and expertise to drive business success.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical design, direction, and solution architecture for large-scale virtual desktop projects. This includes gathering business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders, analyzing and investigating possible solutions, and producing professional high-level solution descriptions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering virtual desktop projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Extensive experience with Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft AVD virtualization technologies.
    • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Terraform.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Business Acumen:
    • Understanding of business operations and IT service management principles.
    • Able to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
