About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our adherence to all applicable labour laws, including those specific to the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely compliance with all applicable labour laws: EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, S&E Acts, ID Act, Gratuity Act, etc.
  • Overseeing state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations.
  • Conducting onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of central and state labour laws and statutory regulations, as well as experience managing compliance audits and inspections. They will also be proficient in using compliance tracking tools and HRMS software.

Must-Haves:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Law, or related field.
  • Additional certification in labour law or statutory compliance is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry (financial services, fintech, or insurance).

Sector-Specific Compliance (Financial Services):

  • Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by IRDAI, RBI, SEBI.
  • Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance.

Documentation, Inspections & Governance:

  • Maintain statutory registers, compliance folders, and inspection records.
  • Coordinate and support internal, external, and regulatory audits for HR data, PI data, and vendor data.

Regulatory Liaison & Risk Mitigation:

  • Coordinate with regional PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF offices for issue resolution and documentation requirements.
  • Handle labour inspections and respond to regulatory notices in collaboration with Legal and Admin teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Legal, Admin, Finance, HRBPs, and external vendors to ensure seamless compliance execution.
  • Translate compliance requirements into SOPs and workflows in consultation with internal stakeholders.

Projects & Process Improvements:

  • Lead or support projects focused on labour law changes, compliance automation, and digital recordkeeping.
