The Placement Manager will play a crucial role in securing new clientele to facilitate student placements and internships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a successful campus recruitment strategy to achieve career outcomes for graduating students.
  • Prioritize candidates with connections in the media and journalism industry.
  • Meet individual targets for recruitment, summer internships, and live projects.
  • Support team members as needed and convert new accounts through structured market outreach.
  • Plan and engage with corporates for strategic activities, including guest lectures, panel discussions, conclaves, workshops, and competitions.
  • Manage student career services, including career counselling, grooming, and preparing students for interviews.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing, and Admissions teams, to achieve both career services and institutional objectives.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High integrity and preference for Edtech industry
  • Knowledge of industry demographics is an added advantage
