Job Overview

As a strategic financial leader, the Director of Finance and Accounting will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's financial vision and ensuring its effective execution. This position will lead a team responsible for producing high-quality financial statements, reports, and analyses that inform business decisions.

The Director will oversee the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports, including balance sheet documentation, cash management, and ad hoc analyses. They will also be responsible for managing the accounting team, including accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws.

Maintaining strong relationships with corporate stakeholders is essential for this role, as the Director will work closely with them to grow the finance function in India and support global initiatives. Additionally, they will lead the year-end audit process, ensuring financial statements comply with relevant standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to produce high-quality financial statements and reports
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports
  • Manage the accounting team, including accounts payable, payroll, and journal entries
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws
  • Work closely with corporate stakeholders to grow the finance function in India and support global initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant certification is required. A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, including experience working in a multi-site environment and international operations, managing a full-cycle accounting team, and good knowledge of IFRS standards, is necessary.
