Job Description

As a Sales Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in the development and execution of all sales strategies in assigned markets. Your primary responsibility will be to drive primary sales, secondary sales, and ensure brand presence in defined markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan for monthly and quarterly business goals
• Plan demand generation and fulfillment
• Monitor actual sales and make mid-course corrections to reduce variance against expectations
• Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and other competitor brands
• Create and update customer lists with specified numbers of doctors/chemists (Trade) as per therapy/product requirements

• Business Generation & Development:
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by promoting company products ethically to customers as per business plans
• Conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion in clinics and at chemist places
• Organize camps (CMEs) as per division strategy and customer needs
• Execute customer management plans to ensure all customers are covered as per plans

• Leadership & Compliance:
• Lead and execute strict adherence to Abbott Code of Business Conduct
• Set examples on implementation of code of business conduct, RCPA, Pharmacovigilance to ensure compliance
• Demonstrate and promote professional behavior in line with Abbott Values of Pioneering, Achieving, Caring, and Enduring
• Ensure high levels of customer service and manage difficult customer situations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development
- Prior/current experience in same therapy is desirable
- Candidates from MNCs and top Indian Pharma companies have added advantages
- Fluent and confident communication skills
