Procurement Expert for Ariba Buying Solution

A thriving organization is seeking an accomplished procurement professional to spearhead the implementation and management of their Ariba Buying solution.

This exciting opportunity demands a deep understanding of Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and Business Network, as well as experience with integrations between Ariba and backend ERP systems via CIG or other middleware. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for integration issues, effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with business, procurement, finance, IT, supplier enablement teams, and good documentation skills and ability to maintain technical / functional specs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Implement and configure Ariba Buying solution and its integrations to ERP systems using CIG
    • Design and manage data flows, mapping, transformations, and transactions between Ariba and backend system
    • Configure Business Network: supplier onboarding, supplier catalogs, transactional flows, trading relationships
    • Customize workflows and rules in Buying and Business Network as per business requirements
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience with Ariba Buying solution
    • Deep knowledge of Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and Business Network
    • Implementation, configuration, and management of Ariba Buying and related modules
    • Experience with integrations between Ariba and backend ERP systems via CIG or other middleware
    • Good understanding of workflows, data mappings, customizations, and master/transaction data
    • Ability to gather business requirements, do solution design, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
