Job Overview:

The Head of Human Resources will lead the transformation and implementation of organizational culture, championing company values through strong leadership and inspirational behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide comprehensive reports on HR, payroll, and learning and development, ensuring compliance with employment law, policy, best practice, and workforce development.
  • Establish effective employment policies across the organization, driving strategic growth and improvement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, fostering knowledge sharing, best practice, and professional standards.
  • Ensure adherence to current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation (including data protection, equality act, and health and safety).
  • Implement the HR strategy, managing core areas including recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, employee engagement, payroll, reward, and recognition, and maintaining/improving HR systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement by focusing on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers, and building leadership capability.
  • Transform and strengthen the organizational culture, ensuring alignment with company values and approach.
  • Develop and execute a diversity, equity, and inclusion plan that aligns with company values, business strategy, and commitments.
  • Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior and high-potential colleagues to identify individual strengths, development needs, and encourage retention.
  • Equip managers with skills and guidance to manage workforce issues effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human resources
  • 12+ years of experience in an HR role
