As a seasoned food safety manager, you will lead our quality and compliance team to drive excellence in food exports.
- Manage the QA/QC team across production, lab, and documentation ensuring seamless execution.
- Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits for certifications including BRCGS, Organic, Buyer Audits, and others.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations such as GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, FDA (US), EU, Sedex, EcoVadis, and more.
- Approve and monitor SOPs, CCPs, PRPs, and ensure effective implementation driving business growth.
- Manage organic certifications and maintain mass balance & traceability records.
- Drive supplier audits, vendor compliance, and raw material quality assurance.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, recalls, and CAPA effectively.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and enhance food safety culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, export, marketing to drive success.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality & Food Safety, preferably with psyllium, oil seeds, or spices.
- Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Organic handling experience is highly valued.
- Degree/Post-grad in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Strong leadership, documentation, and audit-handling skills.
