Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Network Infrastructure Manager with 7+ years of experience in managing enterprise network infrastructures. This role requires deep expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and related network technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks for high-performance and uptime.
  • Administer and support routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools to ensure seamless connectivity and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Implement and manage VPN, load balancers, and proxy servers to enhance security and scalability.
  • Ensure network security by managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access controls to prevent breaches and mitigate risks.
  • Regularly perform vulnerability assessments, patching, and log monitoring to identify and address potential threats.
  • Respond to network breaches, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Proactively monitor network health and optimize for performance, uptime, and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, perform packet analysis, and escalate as needed to resolve complex problems.
  • Work with service providers and vendors to resolve external network issues and negotiate contracts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network topologies, configurations, and changes to facilitate knowledge transfer and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, audit standards, and regulatory frameworks to minimize risk and liability.
  • Participate in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) to ensure the availability of critical systems and data.
  • Collaborate with System Administrators, IT Helpdesk, and Security Teams to provide cohesive technical support and expertise.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related escalations and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades and migrations to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to services.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Network Administrator / Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or Palo Alto network hardware.
  • Strong expertise in routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and proficiency in firewall rules, ACLs, NAT, and IPSec.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG and solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux networking, DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc., and strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
