Job Title: Supply Chain Quality Assurance Specialist

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of suppliers and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess supplier capabilities and audit their quality management system processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead or support teams in conducting Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts and systems according to applicable process descriptions and standards.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality assurance measures to mitigate risks throughout the PPQ process.
  • Perform inspections of components and systems to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Coordinate nonconformance processing at the supplier level and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adjust quality, inspection, and development planning activities accordingly.
  • Facilitate recurring supplier qualification development status meetings to track progress and identify potential risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Technical expertise in industrial process technology and/or auxiliary systems in energy generation plants
  • Knowledge of welding and coating processes
  • Familiarity with relevant ISO and ASME code requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality risk management methodologies
  • Open-minded, results-driven, and analytical thinking with sophisticated communication and presentation skills
  • Project management experience is preferred
