Main Responsibilities

The primary objectives of this role include procuring and sourcing spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels.

  • Source and acquire essential components to maintain vessel functionality.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
Purchase Order Processing

This position requires efficient processing of purchase requisitions from vessels and fleet management teams.

  • Process purchase orders accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure timely order placement, tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate delivery of goods to vessels at ports worldwide.
Budget Management

The incumbent will support the monitoring and control of procurement budgets while identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.

  • Monitor and manage procurement expenses effectively.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and implement changes.
  • Review and verify supplier invoices.
Compliance and Documentation

This role ensures all procurement activities comply with company policies and maritime regulations.

  • Verify adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements.
Technical Support

The successful candidate will collaborate with vessel superintendents and technical teams to provide alternative solutions when specific parts are unavailable.
