About this role

We are seeking a skilled Business Solutions Specialist to join our team and support business growth through effective requirement gathering, solution scoping, and proposal writing.

You will act as a bridge between the client and technical teams, helping articulate clear, functional, and viable solutions during the pre-sales phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with potential clients to understand their software needs and challenges.
  • Gather and document functional and basic technical requirements through calls, meetings, and RFPs/RFIs.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams to shape solution approaches.
  • Draft clear and compelling business proposals, presentations, and technical write-ups.
  • Assist in defining scope, timelines, and preliminary project plans for proposals.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable proposal content and case studies.
  • Support the sales team with functional insights during client discussions and demos.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in a business analyst, functional consultant, or pre-sales role in a tech or software services environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into solution requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in proposal writing is a must.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them in simple business terms.
  • Hands on experience (intermediate level) with tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
