Job Title: Strategic Operations Lead


Key Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with industry standards.

You will oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including inter-departmental reconciliations. Ensuring adherence to accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards is also crucial.

Audit readiness is another critical aspect of this role, where you will drive complete documentation and stakeholder alignment.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:

This role involves leading initiatives to streamline finance workflows, reduce manual interventions, and improve turnaround time.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to digitize key financial processes is also essential. Identifying system and process gaps, recommending automation and policy changes to improve efficiency are also key responsibilities.

Standardizing SOPs across the finance function to enable consistency and audit traceability is another important task.Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

Maintaining visibility over daily cash flows, working capital needs, and fund movement across business units is vital.

You will manage banking relationships for operational finance, fund utilization, and credit arrangements. Preparing short- and long-term cash forecasts aligned with business plans and vendor commitments is also required.

Otimize resource utilization while maintaining financial stability is another key responsibility.

Managing accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and credit control, as well as overseeing accounts payable to ensure timely vendor payments and maintaining cash discipline are also part of this role.MIS & Business Analytics:

Designing and managing robust MIS for internal performance tracking, variance analysis, and leadership review is essential.

You will deliver project-wise, department-wise, and consolidated reporting with clear insights for action.

Support data-driven decision-making through dashboards, KPIs, and budget-to-actual reports is also a key responsibility.Team Management:

SUPERVISE AND MENTOR junior finance staff, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

You will allocate responsibilities across team members and monitor task execution.

Promote continuous learning and performance improvement within the team.Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Inter CA or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
  • 7-12 years of progressive experience in finance and controllership roles.
  • Proven experience in leading financial reporting, process improvement, and cash flow management.
  • Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or operations-heavy sectors will be an added advantage.
