Senior Manager Data Analytics Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our data analytics team in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Owning the end-to-end supply planning cycle, translating demand forecasts into supply plans for inbound/outbound/returns for fulfillment and logistics teams.
  • Collaborating with demand planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure adequate capacity is there to fulfill the monthly plan and ensure timely shipping and on-time deliveries.
  • Leading seasonal and promotional event planning including inventory build-up strategies, temporary storage solutions, manpower planning by partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators including daily attainment, capacity utilization, promise quality etc.
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team of planners and analysts and driving continuous process improvements across planning processes.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, product, and technology to translate business problems into structured analytical projects.
  • Building and maintaining scalable data frameworks, planning models, and dashboards that provide actionable insights for decision-making at all levels.
  • Driving forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking for key operational metrics across fulfillment centers, last-mile logistics, and supply chain.
  • Developing and implementing advanced analytical techniques (forecasting, clustering, regression, predictive modeling) to anticipate trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Championing automation and self-service tools to empower teams and reduce manual reporting.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategic analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • A strong background in e-commerce, supply chain, fulfillment, or logistics.
  • A proven track record of leading cross-functional analytics projects that drive measurable business impact.
  • A deep expertise in SQL, BigQuery, and modern data analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in data visualization platforms (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau).
  • A strong statistical foundation and experience with forecasting, predictive modeling, regression, clustering, classification techniques.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R (preferred).
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, data science, business analytics, statistics, or related field.
  • Strong leadership qualities: ability to inspire, coach, and build high-performing teams.
