Senior Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to oversee the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR systems from hire to retire data management, identifying opportunities to improve processes and bring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee payroll processing, coordinating with vendors on system enhancements and validating full and final settlements for resigned employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, including tax regulations and labour laws.
  • Coordinate with inter-departments to address and resolve compliance-related discrepancies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring services are delivered as per agreed SLA and timeline.
  • Proactively ensure optimal utilization of available resources to support business-as-usual (BAU) and global HR projects.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll queries and issues promptly and accurately.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources or MBA.
  • 15-20 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR Operations, payroll, and compliance (preferably exposure to APAC countries).
  • Handled a team of 5-10 people for 5+ years in previous roles.
  • Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, locally and globally.
  • Experience in a global matrix organization preferred.
  • Effective collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
