Job Title: Construction Cost Manager

The primary function of a Quantity Surveyor is to oversee the financial aspects of construction projects, focusing on specialized systems.

Collaborating closely with project stakeholders ensures that project requirements are met. Key responsibilities include cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project scope in-line with design requirements.
  • Technical Validation: Validate technical specifications received from the Design team.
  • Optimization Strategies: Develop optimization strategies without deviating from client requirements.
  • BOM and RA Bills: Validate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and related backup workings.
  • Presentation and Approval: Present BOQs and solutions to Management for approval.
  • Financial Auditing: Conduct audits of Request for Allowance (RA) bills and final bills.
  • Contract Amendments: Prepare amendments as necessary.
  • Budget Analysis: Validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices.
  • Budget Options: Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions.
  • Product Research: Explore new products and facilitate their approval.
  • Cost Optimization: Propose different optimization options in budgets.
  • Reporting: Complete budget requirements within given timelines without delays.
  • Cost Analysis Reports: Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per Management requirements.
