As a cost professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate financial models. This includes direct and indirect cost components.

You will conduct thorough analysis of costs to identify opportunities for optimization and recommend strategies for improvement. Tracking and updating costs in real-time is crucial.

Collaboration with procurement and production teams is essential to ensure efficiency in sourcing and manufacturing. You will compare actual costs with budgets/estimates and investigate variances to propose corrective actions.

In the realm of business finance, you will prepare forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reports to support business planning. Providing insights on break-even analysis, pricing strategies, and margin improvement opportunities is key.

Supporting management in decision-making with detailed cost-benefit analysis for investments and projects is vital. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to finance and costing is also essential.

Reporting and collaboration are critical aspects of this role. Presenting periodic financial analysis reports and insights to senior management is necessary. Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording of costs and inventory is required.

Cross-functional collaboration to enhance processes and achieve efficiency is essential. The ideal candidate will have an MBA/CA and ICWA, proven experience (5-7 years) in cost analysis, business finance, or management accounting, and strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders are also necessary.
