Associate Information Security Analyst

About the Role
This is an entry-level position within the Managed Services Information Security Analyst team, working under the guidance of more experienced analysts. The role involves working with security tools and other security teams to monitor, analyze, and report on incoming client data, providing security information and recommendations to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security logs from client environments using NTT security tools.
- Work with client stakeholders and the Information Security Manager to tune the MSSP platform and client SIEM for efficient detection, analysis, and reporting.
- Generate continuous improvement ideas for supported security tools and technologies to enhance NTT services, employee experience, and client experience.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures, customer run books, and standard processes to ensure globally consistent delivery while proposing changes and improvements.
- Utilize and document best practices, amending existing documentation as required.
- Handle security incidents from various vectors, including endpoint protection and enterprise detection and response tools, attack analysis, malware analysis, network forensics, and computer forensics.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure the best outcomes for clients and NTT within service and SOP boundaries.
- Remain curious and objective to provide high-quality services beyond tools' native capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to share knowledge and build a cohesive team environment.
Requirements
- Entry-level experience in SOC analysis operations.
- Entry-level experience in SIEM usage for investigations.
- Entry-level experience in security technologies like firewalls, IPS, IDS, proxy, and others.
- Entry-level experience in technical support to clients.
- Entry-level experience in handling security incidents end-to-end.
- Entry-level knowledge of security concepts and their application.
- Entry-level experience in configuring and managing security controls, such as SIEM, firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, proxy, SOAR, honeypots, and other security tools.
- Knowledge of log collection mechanisms like Syslog, log files, and DB API.
- Knowledge in security architecture.
- Entry-level experience in security analysis or engineering.
