Job Title: Logistics Manager

🕐 Summary

This is a critical role for our logistics operations, requiring a seasoned professional to oversee the import, export and land transport of sensitive semiconductor equipment and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors. They must possess a deep understanding of international logistics, 3PL management, and regulations concerning hazardous materials.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing transportation and logistics across multiple sites, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery. You will also identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end import, export, and land transport processes for sensitive semiconductor equipment and other materials.
  • Oversee logistics activities between suppliers, customers, logistics partners, licensing authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian and international trade laws, customs regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • At least 12-14 years of proven experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of international logistics, 3PL management, and regulations concerning hazardous materials.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders globally.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and potentially specific logistics/trade compliance software.
