Sales Executive – Solar ProductsAs a Sales Executive for solar products, your primary responsibility is to promote, sell, and generate leads for solar energy solutions, such as water heaters, heat pumps, rooftop solar systems, and other renewable energy systems. You will engage with residential, commercial, and industrial clients to explain the benefits of solar energy and close sales deals. Preferred Experience: 0 to 3 years in sales Education: 10th or PU( Pass/Fail) Basic Education with good communication skillsKey Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify potential clients through market research, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries. Generate qualified leads to maintain a pipeline of prospective business opportunities. Visit residential and commercial sites to assess suitability for solar installations. Maintain and update a database of leads, client interactions, and follow-ups. 2. Product Knowledge & Consultation Develop in-depth knowledge of solar products, technologies, and installation processes. Educate clients on the benefits, cost savings, and environmental impact of solar energy. Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to provide customized solar solutions. Prepare and present product proposals, quotations, and technical details to clients. 3. Sales & Revenue Generation Convert leads into sales and revenue by closing deals. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to maximize revenue opportunities. 4. Project Coordination Coordinate with the installation and technical teams to ensure timely execution of projects. Monitor the progress of solar installations, ensuring client satisfaction. Assist in resolving technical or logistical issues during installation. Maintain communication with clients throughout the installation and post-sales process. 5. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and submit sales reports, progress updates, and client records regularly. Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, quotations, and invoices. Track performance metrics such as leads generated, sales closed, and revenue achieved. Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights. 6. Marketing & Promotion Participate in local marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and solar awareness programs. Distribute promotional materials and conduct demonstrations of solar products. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and brand promotion. Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and incentives related to solar energy. 7. Customer Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Provide post-sales support and guidance on product maintenance and energy optimization. Address client queries, complaints, or concerns professionally and promptly. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and trust in the company's services. Required Skills & Competencies 1. Communication & Interpersonal Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build trust and rapport with clients quickly. Strong presentation skills to demonstrate product features and benefits. 2. Sales & Negotiation Skills Proven ability in B2B or B2C sales, lead conversion, and closing deals. Negotiation skills to finalize contracts and agreements effectively. Target-driven mindset focused on achieving sales and revenue goals. 3. Technical Knowledge Basic understanding of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and installation processes. Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to clients. Awareness of solar industry regulations, policies, and incentives. 4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Ability to assess client needs and provide suitable solar solutions. Proactive in resolving technical or logistical challenges. Decision-making skills to determine best-fit solutions for clients. 5. Organizational & Time Management Skills Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Maintain accurate records and timely follow-ups with leads.
