About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Staff IT Audit Consultant who excels in SSAE 21 (SOC Reporting) and AICPA standards. This position involves assisting Senior IT Audit Consultants and reporting to the Manager, Executive Director, or CEO. Strategic engagements may require direct work with the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities in assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services.

2. Own growth and service delivery of engagements, working closely with supervisors and clients to coordinate efforts on System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre and post-implementation assessments, and report issuance under AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards.

3. Work with clients to execute engagement, leveraging industry and functional insights from our advisory business to bring greater value to clients.

4. Design and execute high-quality, integrated, and efficient audit procedures.

5. Assist in building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols.

6. Create and implement audit strategy for evaluation of significant applications relevant to financial audits.

7. Prepare and communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans.

8. Identify potential clients and generate leads for AARC-360.

9. Adhere to all quality standards and processes, including independence requirements.

About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients and team members. Collaboration with engagement team members to plan engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, budgets, and other planning documents is essential. Leadership skills to lead engagement team to ensure quality workpapers and deliverables, provide regular status updates, and adhere to project timeline are necessary. Strong project management skills, maintaining teamwork culture, project timelines, and quality of deliverables are also required. Detailed understanding of standards, regulations, and information systems is a must. Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity within a professional environment is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of related work experience or graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience.

2. Degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.

3. Preferably Chartered Accountant who is a member of the ICAI.

4. Minimum one year of experience working as an auditor or risk advisor for a CA firm, professional services firm, or financial services company.

5. Experience with at least two types of engagements: Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting, internal audit risk assessment, financial statement audits/SOX/internal controls, PCI and/or HITRUST Assessments, and/or Application security and control reviews (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday).
