Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality in our Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of PEB standards, as well as experience in inspecting raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures. They will also be responsible for conducting quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures to meet drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes adhering to PEB standards.
- Carry out dimensional inspections of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
- Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure material traceability.
- Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Evaluate compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.
- Participate in internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Suggest continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures
- Solid understanding of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.)
- Understanding of painting and coating standards
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
