Job Overview:

A web data analyst plays a pivotal role in collecting and interpreting data on user interaction with online platforms. This involves analyzing metrics to ensure products meet customer standards and specifications.

The web data analyst is an integral part of the marketing department, responsible for monitoring and adjusting website performance indicators. They study the site, evaluate its design, collect data on user interaction, and offer solutions for optimization.

As a Web Analyst, you will collaborate with multiple product teams with different goals and requirements. You'll work closely with them on new feature implementations and evaluations, guiding and helping them set up their products and features to optimize information received and used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and analyze data generated by online user activity using various tools.
  • Report findings with easy-to-understand data visualizations.
  • Communicate insights and provide solutions with demonstrable results.
  • Work with development and marketing teams to implement solutions.

Requirements:

Role:

Your role as a web analyst is to bridge the gap between business and product. You'll help the business develop better products and features while reporting back and evaluating their performance.

You'll work with different teams to determine the best ways to implement new features and assist product teams in setting up measurements for these features.

The Marketing team supports marketing teams in making better decisions and becoming more data-driven. To achieve this, they're involved in every stage of a product's cycle, from initiation to evaluation.

Education plays a significant role in this journey, with course and training development to help teams grow in their ability to analyze and design better products.
