Key Role Summary:The ideal candidate for this role will develop and implement business strategies that align with the hotel's mission, vision, values, and objectives. This involves leading the engineering department to achieve hotel goals, monitoring progress regularly, and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for the hotel engineering department to support achievement of hotel goals.
- Maintain regular status updates and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure alignment with hotel objectives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Committee to develop an annual budget that reflects the hotel's financial priorities.
- Contribute to the development of annual marketing, sales, and yield management plans and strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Continuously improve the hotel engineering department by adhering to hotel brand standards and best practices.
- Maximize revenue and profitability by directing the Engineering department effectively.
- Oversee the Engineering department and third-party vendors to ensure superior service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement quality control programs to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Analyze contracts and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with vendors, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Interpret plans and contract terms with the Engineering team, management, clients, and vendors to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Monitor adherence to building safety codes, health, and safety laws, and other regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
