Desktop Support Engineer Role

 

As a skilled Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide top-notch technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring seamless operations across the organization. Your expertise in troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook issues, including email configuration and PST management, will be invaluable to our team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop support issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate network-related issues and ensure effective resolution
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS and basic software applications, guaranteeing smooth operations
  • Utilize ticketing tools to log, track, and close IT support tickets efficiently
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations as needed
  • Develop and maintain asset records and ensure proper documentation of support tasks
  • Provide exceptional remote or onsite support to end-users across departments, fostering strong relationships

 

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficient hands-on experience with Outlook troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS configuration & installation
  • Strong understanding of ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar
  • Basic understanding of hardware and network troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech, etc.)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of relevant desktop support experience
  • Immediate or short notice joiners preferred
