Job Overview:

We're seeking a skilled retail trainer to drive learning and development across our eyewear brand. As a Retail Excellence Specialist, you'll be responsible for building retail excellence by delivering impactful training programs to front-line teams.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to driving sales performance, customer experience, product knowledge, and operational efficiency across both offline retail stores and online support teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs focused on product knowledge, customer service, sales techniques, and upselling.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for retail staff, team leaders, and support roles.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and business teams to identify training needs and performance gaps.
  • Support new store openings and new hire onboarding with structured training rollouts.
  • Regularly assess training effectiveness through assessments, on-floor observation, and performance metrics.
  • Develop digital training content (videos, decks, quizzes) for scalable learning.
  • Track and maintain training MIS: attendance, completion rates, feedback, and post-training performance.

Your Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training, preferably in retail, eyewear, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—both in-person and virtual.
  • Hands-on experience with retail operations, customer handling, and POS systems is a plus.
  • Comfort with virtual training tools, LMS platforms, and digital content creation.
  • Ability to connect with store teams and drive motivation and accountability.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
