Technical Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to customers, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and effective technical assistance to customers via various channels.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, using your problem-solving skills to resolve customer problems.
  • Document and track customer interactions in our support system, ensuring seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to customers on product usage, enhancing their technical expertise and confidence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in programming languages and software development.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA, can be advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex technical issues into manageable components.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues, with a keen eye for detail and a patient approach.
  • Experience with customer support software, including ticketing systems and helpdesk tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and applications, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
