Job Title: Senior Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to spearhead our projects in Hyderabad. This role involves managing customer projects, including Discovery Biology and Biologics discovery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, change management, risk management, communication, and closure of projects.

  • Develop a project scope by gathering proposal details from the marketing team.
  • Create a project management plan, set milestones, and track progress regularly.
  • Ensure timely completion of activities, monitor costs, and detect any variances.
  • Communicate project progress and changes to stakeholders and report any variances.
  • Identify proposed changes, seek authorization, and implement approved changes accordingly.
  • Establish a repository for risk information and document mitigation plans.
  • Provide weekly updates to customers, conduct teleconferences, and circulate action points/minutes.
  • Closely lead project closures, capture inputs, and collate direct and indirect costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A PhD with up to 5 years industry experience or Masters with 8-12 years experience in project management.
  • Proven experience in managing customer projects in Discovery Biology and Biologics discovery.
  • Strong knowledge of project management concepts, technical concepts, and risk mitigation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively with customers.
