Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to fill the position of Legal Associate Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong understanding of consumer law and regulations.

  • Court Representation: Represent the company in consumer dispute cases across courts and quasi-judicial bodies nationwide.
  • Document Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents like Sale Deeds, MOUs, Agreements to Sale, Board Resolutions, Legal Notices, etc.
  • Filing and Compliance: Handle preparation and filing of legal documents with courts, regulators, and tribunals.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide legal opinions and guidance on consumer-related matters.
  • RERA Litigation: Manage regulatory and litigation matters under RERA, especially in Karnataka.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain professional relationships with clients, external counsel, RERA officials, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

Court & Quasi-Judicial Representation

Act as complainant/defendant/witness/plaintiff as required, presenting evidence on the company's behalf.

Legal Documentation & Drafting

Evaluate and ensure all legal documents are accurate, compliant, and protect the company's interests.

Legal Filings & Compliance

Ensure adherence to legal procedures, including RERA and consumer forum protocols.

Legal Advisory & Strategy

Collaborate with senior leadership on case strategies and risk analysis.

RERA Litigation & Compliance

Independently represent the company in RERA cases.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction

Participate in customer meetings to provide legal support during negotiations.

Legal Research

Conduct legal research to support case preparation, compliance strategy, and company policy development.

Cross-functional Support

Offer legal assistance across departments as needed.
