Job Title: Test Assurance Specialist - Consumer Finance

Seeking an experienced test assurance specialist with expertise in consumer finance domain to collaborate with our quality engineering team.

We need someone who can review business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for consumer lending products such as personal loans, credit cards, and auto loans. Also, conduct manual and automated testing of UI, API, and backend components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate loan lifecycle process including application submission, credit checks, loan approval, disbursement, and servicing.
  • Conduct API testing for integrations with third-party services like credit bureaus, identity verification providers, and payment gateways.
  • Perform database testing to ensure accuracy of loan data, rules execution, and decisioning logic.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1-2 years in consumer lending or fintech.
  • Deep understanding of lending workflows, credit decisioning, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong skills in API testing, SQL/database validation, and test automation tools like Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in financial applications.
