Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role involves active participation in financial monitoring reviews, audits and other engagements throughout the year.

Key responsibilities include planning and attending meetings with external audit firms to finalise internal audit reports.

Additional tasks include preparing annual budgets, conducting financial reviews of projects, guiding teams and providing practical solutions to issues encountered by stakeholders.

Responsibilities also include streamlining processes, rolling out SOPs, maintaining MIS for open audit paras and sharing data with stakeholders on a regular basis.

Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across the organization is also essential.

Interpretation of statutory and regulatory changes, defining policies to be implemented and preparing reports/presentations for organisation management are also key aspects of the role.

Maintaining professional relationships with external auditors and other agencies is crucial.

  • Active involvement in Organisation's audits financial monitoring reviews conducted throughout the year.
  • Planning / sampling / attending kick-off meetings/ review meetings and closure meetings conducted for finalization of internal audit reports along with the external audit firms.
  • Preparing the annual budget /audit coverage / scope for all the Engagements
  • Independently conducting Financial Review of Projects supported by Organisation (Including visit to locations). Identifying areas of concerns and ensuring that the funds get utilized for the purpose sanctioned.
  • Guiding teams and providing practical solutions to the issues being encountered by the stakeholders.
  • Streamlining processes and assisting in roll out of SOPs as required.
  • Rigorous follow up with stakeholders for submission of data for closure of open audit paras. Validating submissions and formal closure of open audit paras with external auditors.
  • Maintaining real time updated MIS for open audit paras and sharing data with the stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Continuous review of IT applications and systems used across the organisations.
  • Interpretation of statutory/ regulatory changes & assisting in defining policies to be implemented.
  • Preparing reports/ presentations for Organisation Management as required.
  • Maintaining cordial professional relationships with External Auditors and other agencies.
