Financial Operations Specialist Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, assist with transactional processes, and support reporting and compliance activities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and verify day-to-day financial transactions,
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow),
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and organizing data,
  • Help maintain accurate financial trackers and spreadsheets,
  • Work closely with teams to provide timely reports and updates,
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable entries,
  • Support month-end closing activities such as reconciliations and documentation,
  • Provide data for tax filings and audits when required,
  • Create simple dashboards, presentations, and summaries for internal use,
  • Contribute to small process improvement tasks and ad-hoc finance projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Tally, Quickbooks, Zoho, Xero
